Competition Guidelines

 

  1. This photo competition is open to all who are part of the RGS community (i.e. existing students, their parents, staff members as well as alumnae).

  2. To take part, participants submit an original photograph that best depicts any one of the following themes that will aid them in sharing their RGS stories: - Dynamic Culture - Inspired Teachers - Impact on Society - Timeless Mission

  3. Submissions should be engaging and can potentially resonate with the entire RGS community at large.

  4. All entries must be posted to Instagram, along with the story (no more than 150 words) behind your photo, hashtag #myrgsstory #rgsphotocomp #(one of the four main themes) #(weekly hashtag, if applicable) and mention @raffles_girls_school

  5. Prize winners will be notified through their Instagram account to contact us.

  6. Submission period: 9 February 2015 to 25 May 2015 (15 weeks).

  7. Different hashtags will be revealed weekly as part of a mini event (optional) where up to 3 entries will be selected each week for photos that best depict the theme hashtag for the week.

  8. Multiple entries per participant is allowed.

  9. Entries can be submitted as an individual, group, class, teacher and student, student and parents etc.

  10. Photos will be rounded up at the end of the photo submission period for voting on Facebook for the top 3 photographs. Voting details will be announced closer to the end of the submission period.

  11. For those who would like to take part in the competition, but have no Instagram account can email your entry/entries, along with the necessary components to adeline.chow@rafflesgirlssch.edu.sg, where we will help post your entries onto Instagram using our account to share with the rest of the RGS community.

  12. Please note that only entries from public Instagram profiles are viewable. Should you want to keep your Instagram profile private and still take part in the competition, you may email your entries to adeline.chow@rafflesgirlssch.edu.sg (as per point number 11).
